Stuart was born in Newcastle upon Tyne and learned to play the violin whilst assisting his dad who was the local undertaker. He's a big, blond, lanky bleeder and can play anything you want twice as fast as it should be and three times as loud. He also tells crap jokes which he can spin out almost indefinitely. He's got his own studio in Bristol where he composes and produces music for TV & Film. He also goes out on tour with various other bands, most recently and famously with Peter Hammill but also with veteran BBC harmonica player Keith Warmington.
